Students at Woodkirk Academy say sums up for new school lockers!

Specialist science academy Woodkirk High School in Morley, West Yorkshire which provides enhanced facilities for students in maths and science, have recently taken delivery of another batch of school lockers from local company 3d Lockers. With over 1800 students at the school, an on going programme has been taking place over the past few years to increase the number of lockers available to students and also to upgrade the old and dilapidated lockers which had seen better days.

"The school had a mixture of lots of different types of lockers and many of the doors were bent and unsightly" says Business Manager of the school. "We were also experiencing an increase in school pupil numbers and so there was a definite need to replace and add to our locker requirements. We have been working with 3d Lockers over the last few years to gradually replace the lockers around the school and have always found their service helpful and extremely cost effective".

A mixture of three door and four door standard metal nested lockers with camlocks and a mixture of door colours have been acquired to suit the different year groups and storage requirements of the pupils at Woodkirk. As well as the traditional locker room areas, the school corridors have been filled with banks of lockers cheering up the interior of the former secondary modern school.

"The Three Tier School lockers 1800 x 300 x 450 are an ideal size to accommodate student bags and books and are part of our most popular range of quality engineered lockers with antibacterial paint finish and inbuilt security features providing peace of mind that belongings will be kept safe" says Marketing Director of 3d Lockers. "A key feature of the lockers is that replacement doors and keys are readily available so that the lockers can easily be maintained by the school for years to come"
