What is Nesting?

A series of lockers of the same overall dimensions, sharing common side panels, manufactured and supplied fitted together. Lockers are available as single Nest 1, Nest 2 or Nest 3 units.

Locker nesting brings efficiencies in manufacture, delivery, installation and space utilisation. Nested lockers can be joined with bolts to create longer runs of lockers.

What Is a Locker Run?

A series of nested lockers connected together. May be a single depth run, sited against a wall, or a back-to-back run (as an ‘island’ block) opening onto two aisles.

What Are Tiers?

Tiers are the variable number of enclosed vertical storage levels contained within the locker unit. Tiers may also be expressed as the number of doors or compartments within the locker.

Probe Master Key (for camlocks)

Master keys for lockers are a handy piece of equipment and should be only issued to supervisors or personnel in charge of lockers.  Access can be gained to many locker compartments with one master key which fits a series of different locks. Providing controlled  access to locker compartments when either keys are lost or access required urgently.

Camlocks provide added security to metal lockers, cupboards and cabinets.  A traditional and cost effective locking method chosen by locker users due to its simplicity and ease of replacement.

Probe Type B Swivel Hasp & Staple Lock

Hasp and staple latch locks are an ideal locking solution which transfers the responsibility for locking to the user.  The user is required to secure the locker with a padlock.  This system provides flexibility particularly in schools or areas where keys could easily be lost.

  • Hasp and Staple swivel latch locks are available as a no cost option and can be selected just before checkout.
  • Chrome swivel handle with circular cut out to accomodate padlock
  • Locker is opened by turning oval handle 90 degrees to release cam.
  • Ideally a padlock with a 6mm to 7.5mm diameter should be used, with a top shackle dimension of between 19mm and 25mm.

Expressbox by Probe 1 Door Locker is available in seven door colours with a silver frame. A great steel, storage locker to use in a range of environments such as offices, gyms, schools, leisure, NHS, or the police. Choose from two locking options: camlocks with 2 keys or hasp & staple locks to use with a padlock (not provided).

This single door version offers full length hanging for garments or coats with two coat hooks and a hat shelf. Activecoat anti-bacterial paint is included at no extra cost. This unique coating will help to reduce the spread of infection such as Salmonella, E.Coli or MRSA.

Blue door lockers can be delivered in 7 working days.  All other colours take 10-14 days.

This locker has a maximum order quantity of 50 lockers. Locker requirements above this amount will be on a longer lead time.

P Series Installation Nesting Bolts Pack of 100

Serious injury could be caused by locker or cupboard tip over.  It is important to install your lockers or cupboards side to side, back to back and back to wall. Nesting bolts to suit probe lockers, please note 4 nesting bolts per side required. Nesting Bolts are supplied as packs of 25, please calculate how many nesting bolts required and order accordingly. Standard Delivery Leadtime
Estimated delivery is 7-14 working days. Leadtimes quoted are in indication only, and may increase/decrease depending on manufacturing capacity at time of order. Larger orders may take longer than the estimated delivery leadtime.

The vast majority of deliveries are made anyday Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Standard Delivery Cost (UK Mainland)
FREE DELIVERY is available on the vast majority of products for orders over £150.00+vat. A £25.00+vat carriage charge will be applied if the order value falls under this amount.

Scottish postcodes including HIghlands and Islands, Truro and Belfast are also exempt from free delivery on certain products. Please check product page for further information and contact us for pricing.

Delivery (Non UK Mainland)
Delivery to extremities and offshore locations is available by arrangement and at an extra cost.

Delivery To Home Addresses: Sorry but we DO NOT deliver to home addresses at this time. If we deem a delivery is to a home address, we will automatically cancel and refund the order within 5 working days.

Delivery Restrictions
Please advise of any delivery restrictions (opening times and vehicle access sizes) prior to order. Failed deliveries will be chargeable.

Please note delivery is to a ground floor entrance or nearest offloading point only which maybe kerbside only. Driver's are not insured to distribute goods around a building or use lifts.
