Lead Times & Scheduling

Because our products are made to order, delivery times depend on current manufacturing capacity and the specific items you choose.

  • Estimated Dates: We operate on a "week commencing" or “week ending” delivery schedule. Once you place an order, we will confirm the week your items are scheduled to arrive. While we always strive to meet these estimates, dates are not guaranteed and deliveries may occasionally arrive early or late.
  • Peak Times & Holidays: Lead times will be extended during busy periods, Easter, Christmas, and scheduled factory maintenance shutdowns.
  • Delivery Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Pre-Call Service: You can request a 24-hour driver pre-call to help you prepare for the delivery. Please note this is a guidance service and cannot be guaranteed during peak times.
  • Nominated Day Delivery: Need your order on a specific date? We can often arrange this for an additional fee. Contact our Sales Team for pricing.

 

On the Day: Access & Offloading

To keep our delivery network running smoothly, please ensure your site is ready to receive your order.

  • Vehicle Size: Standard deliveries are made on a 40-foot trailer. You must notify us of any access restrictions (e.g., height, width, weight limits, or pedestrian zones with time restrictions) when placing your order.
  • Offloading Responsibilities: Delivery is strictly to a ground floor entrance, or to the kerbside for palletised goods. Please ensure you have adequate personnel or handling equipment ready to offload your items, as our drivers cannot move goods inside your premises. Our vehicles are single driver operated.
  • Waiting Times & Failed Deliveries: If offloading does not begin within 30 minutes of the vehicle arriving, a waiting fee of £55.00 per half hour will apply (up to a maximum of 1 hour). After 1 hour, it is at the discretion of the driver or factory to terminate the delivery and leave the site with the goods. If a delivery fails or our vehicle is turned away due to undisclosed access restrictions, repeat delivery costs, failed delivery charges, and potential storage fees will be passed on to the customer.

 

Cancellations & Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your 3D Lockers purchase. However, because we are a B2B supplier and the vast majority of our products are manufactured to order, standard consumer Distance Selling Regulations do not apply.

  • Cancellations: Once your goods have entered the manufacturing process, orders cannot be cancelled and must be paid for in full. If you need to cancel prior to manufacturing, please call us immediately at 01924 240291 and follow up in writing. Cancellations are accepted solely at our discretion and may incur charges to cover costs already incurred.
  • Returns: Dispatched goods cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or faulty. If you receive a faulty item, it must remain in an unused condition.

Delivery & Returns

The locker keys for the top compartment are located underneath the base of the locker.  They will be stapled in a plastic bag in one of the corners on the base.  Tilt the locker and gently feel underneath to locate.  If the keys are not there and you have had a good look, then please email us at sales@3dlockers.co.uk

If you have ordered a masterkey, the key will either be taped to the delivery note or will be posted out under separate cover directly to yourselves. If this does not arrive within a few days after delivery, please contact us via email on sales@3dlockers.co.uk to report missing.

We make every effort to deliver your products in one piece and on time, but as we sometimes use couriers damages will inevitably occur from time to time. If this is the case we are very sorry to hear that your product has arrived damaged.  Please follow the instructions below.

1.  Fully check the product on arrival and reject immediately on any visable sign of damage.

2.  Contact us immediately and send photographic evidence of the damage by email to sales@3dlockers.co.uk.  This must be no later than 3 working days from receipt of goods.

3.  Please DO NOT SIGN the delivery note  in the normal way - Sign as UNCHECKED OR DAMAGED. 

3.  All material shortages must be reported via email to sales@3dlockers.co.uk within 3 working days

On following the above procedure,we will endeavour to replace, repair or rectify as soon as is humanly possible.

We make every effort to deliver your products in one piece and on time, but as we sometimes use couriers damages will inevitably occur from time to time.  If this is the case then please DO NOT SIGN the delivery note  in the normal way - Sign as UNCHECKED OR DAMAGED. Please report any damages including material shortages via email or telephone within 3 days of receipt of your delivery.  We will require a photo of the damaged product and once received will endeavour to replace or rectify as soon as is humanly possible.

All products on our website will show an approximate delivery lead time from order on the delivery tab of the product.  This can vary from 5 days to 25 working days but details on our site are a fairly accurate guide. Please note delivery lead times can be extended for a larger quantity of items or during busy periods.

Should you require something urgently, you can always contact us to see if we can approve on the delivery leadtime.  This may be possible if there is production capacity available or we may be available to swap your chosen product over to a different factory.  It's always worth asking.

Once your order has been placed with us we will email you with anticipated delivery by date or week commencing date.  Please note these dates are only "Estimates" of delivery times.  Problems in production may still occur which could make these dates inaccurate.  Please do not remove existing equipment or book workmen in until you have received your delivery.

Standard Deliveries.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.  Standard deliveries can by anytime during the week in question and are not on any specific day or time.

In order for your to make plans to accept delivery, once you have placed your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement Delivery confirmation email from 3d Lockers.  This will indicate the estimated delivery by date or a week commencing/ending date.

Standard delivery may not include pedestrian zones which operate time limits on deliveries.  Addtional costs may apply.

PLEASE ADVISE of any delivery restrictions at time of ordering or indicate any additional information which you think will help our delivery driver.

We are sorry if your products have not been delivered by the estimated delivery date.  If this is the case then please contact us by email at sales@3dlockers.co.uk and we'll gladly chase up our suppliers to rectify.

 

 

90 percent of the time our suppliers deliver on time.  However sometimes unforeseen manufacturing situations or delivery hold ups can occur with our suppliers resulting in longer leadtimes than anticipated or even a failed delivery if the driver runs out of hours.

Please do not remove existing equipment in anticipation of an estimated delivery date or book in workmen for installation until you have actually received your delivery.

Here at 3d Lockers we try our best to keep our customers informed of delays, but there can be occasions when this information is late in being relayed to us.  If this occurs, 3d Lockers cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves for such a delay.  Our suppliers will always try to deliver the goods or services by the agreed date, however such dates are given as estimates only and cannot therefore be viewed as breach of contract.

On occasions the goods may be delivered in advance of the estimated delivery date.  Where we can, we will give notice of advance deliveries, but cannot always guarantee this at peak times. Once again we cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves for premature delivery dates.

Unfortunately our drivers are only insured to deliver to ground floor reception or kerbside only.  Our driver is not expected to carry large items over distances and where access to an entrance is restricted, offloading will be to tailgate only.  The off-loading point will be determined by the driver.  

It would be down to the customer to arrange for the lockers or cupboards to be transported to their final destination.

Our driver is also not able to insert products into a lift.

24 Hour Pre-Call Request.

You can request the factory/driver to give you a 24 hour pre-call to give 24 hours notice of delivery. This pre-call service is aimed at helping our customers with their preparations to accept deliveries.  However, this is for guidance only and we cannot guarantee this service during peak times.  We cannot be held liable for any costs or delays in the non provision of this service.

This service is not available on the express delivery 5 days products

Nominated Day Deliveries.

We understand that sometimes our standard delivery service doesn't fit the bill.  That's why we are on occasions able to offer a nominated day delivery service at additional cost.  We are also able to offer Nominated Day and Time Specific Deliveries.  These services are at additional cost and dependant on the product involved.  Please contact our sales team by emailing sales@3dlockers.co.uk  who will be happy to help arrange this additional service if available and confirm the costs for your particular delivery.

Yes, the delivery vehicle is usually operated by a single driver and will be unable to offload large orders alone.   It is the customer's responsibility to ensure adequate labour is to hand to assist in the off loading.

We deliver throughout UK mainland and all our deliveries are FREE for orders over £150.00.  A carriage surcharge of £25.00 applies to orders under this value.  This is shown at your checkout basket.

Delivery to Ireland can be arranged at additional cost.  Please contact us for costing or alternatively we can deliver Free (Subject to minimum order charge) to any UK Port or shipping agent of your choice.

Delivery to Europe can be arranged at additional cost, please contact us for costing or alternatively we can deliver Free (Subject to minimum order charge)  to any UK Port or shipping agent of your choice.

Yes, all our items are signed for on delivery.  Should you require a Proof of Delivery document, then please contact us via email at sales@3dlockers.co.uk and we will be happy to organise with the delivery company.

We assume clear access for up to a 40' trailer size or an 18 tonne vehicle - offloading to kerbside or if possible to a ground floor location only. Please advise our sales team of any delivery access restrictions at time of placement of order. Should our delivery vehicles be turned away due to the above, then additional re-stocking/re-delivery charges will be incurred by the customer.

Waiting Time and Repeat Deliveries.

Failed and repeat deliveries will be charged at cost by our suppliers dependant on location and required delivery date and time.  Storage costs may apply if delivery cannot be made promptly.

Waiting time will be charged for any delay should unloading not commence within 30 minutes of the vehicle arriving at the site at the rate of £35 per half hour up to a maximum of 1 hour, after which it will be at the driver's discretion to pull off site.  Failed and repeat delivery conditions would then apply and re delivery charges will apply.

For Business to Business Customers.

Here at 3D Lockers we really want you to be happy with your purchase. However the distance selling regulations do not apply for Business to Business customers and we are therefore not obliged to offer a returns policy. We will only accept cancellation of an order on condition that you reimburse us in full all costs and expenses incurred by us and arising from the cancellation (whether directly or indirectly) and all loss of profits and other loss, damages, costs, charges and expenses resulting to or incurred as a result. As the vast majority of our products are made to order, your order cannot be cancelled once the goods have gone into the manufacturing process and the order will have to be paid for in full. Once goods have been dispatched to you they cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged, faulty and must be in an unused condition and at the original delivery location. Any items will be deemed to have been accepted by yourselves if any such problems have not been reported to us with a time limit of 7 working days.

Cancellation Policy for Consumers.

We are a Business to Business Comapny and unfortunately we do not deliver to domestic addresses or consumers. Orders are only to business customers.

 

 

 

 

We are a Business to Business comapny so unfortunately we are only able to deliver to business customers at a non-domestic delivery address.

Quite a number of the products on our website are delivered by pallet service. This means the driver will offload your product/s and deliver to the nearest kerb side or ground floor location decided by the driver. It is your responsibility to unwrap the product and dispose of the pallet. IMPORTANT:  Please reject goods immediately on any visable sign of damage and report to us immediately with photographic evidence.

Not all products are delivered by pallet service, some are handballed off the back of a vehicle but still to a ground floor point. It is worth asking us to see which delivery service will be used for the product you are interested in. If a pallet service is not suitable, then we can advise of alterntive products where a pallet delivery service is not used. For more details please contact us via sales@3dlockers.co.uk

All items must be inspected for damage before signing. PLEASE REJECT if there are any signs of visible damage. The words 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' will not be accepted as a conditional signature for goods received in good order and condition. Please contact us immediately if you spot any damage.
