Bespoke Colours at Abacus Primary School
Abacus Primary School in Essex contacted 3D Lockers with a requirement for new primary school lockers. Lockers were needed to store away the children’s school bags, coats and any other personal items away during the school day. Our low height lockers 900mm high were selected, an ideal choice for primary school children as they are specially designed for small users to reach or for areas with limited space.
The school colours for Abacus Primary School are yellow and purple. With this in mind, they wanted to match the locker door colours to keep in theme with the school. Our standard yellow colour (RAL 1003) was a perfect match but they wanted to mix in some purple doors as well. Purple is not a colour from our standard range but we are able to colour match and produce any RAL colour at a small extra charge. The school chose RAL 4008 which is a vibrant purple very close to the ‘Cadburys’ shade of purple. At 3D Lockers we are able to create a bespoke locker tailored to suit your colour scheme. If there is a specific colour you would like that is not in our standard colour range, we can match it at a 5% surcharge.
The locker size chosen was 300 wide x 450 deep, giving that extra bit of space to store bulky winter coats or PE bags. Camlocks were added, these are supplied with two keys per locker.
The head teacher at Abacus Primary School said the new school lockers look amazing and that the children are enjoying putting their things away in their own personal locker.
